Out and about with the Zeus team

It’s been a busy month for the Zeus PR team. From fresher’s fairs to petting Parrots, the team have been out and about for various client events. Ellie and Megan went along to our client Real Stone and Tile’s trade event, for an evening filled with expert talks and product demonstrations, complimented by an array of food and drinks. Megan also showed off her golfing skills, and won a putting challenge and claimed a cosy fleece as her prize.

Next was the Chester Uni Fresher’s Fair, with our client Go Sexual Health. Ellie and Kirsty had a day away from their desks to join the gosh team at the fair. There they helped to raise awareness of the new sexual health service know as ‘gosh’. An enjoyable day was had working with the gosh team, giving out sexual health advice and supplies to the students of Chester University. Kirsty then made the trip to Clitheroe for the grand opening of The Ladies Room. A very lucky VIP competition winner received an exclusive tour of the brand new Salon with a drinks reception and complimentary treatment. Kirsty was also able to sneak her way into the stylist, Iwona’s chair for some sneaky pampering.

Why Buy New When You Can Reuse?

We have been busy working with our innovative client who repairs and refurbishes waste and recycling containers, UK Container Maintenance. They have saved an old double-decker bus from scrap and transformed it into an educational vehicle.

By practising what it preaches, UKCM has restored the bus back to its former glory by reusing materials that would have usually been disposed off. The sophisticated leather seats have been reupholstered using off cuts and the electrical devices such as the 50inch flat screen TV and iPads are second hand and have been refurbished to full working order.

The bus also boasts a modern bar and on the top deck part of the roof has been removed to make way for an open top garden area which will contain artificial grass and relaxing deckchairs. The outside will be vinyl wrapped and branded with the UKCM’s logo.

The bus will provide an educational experience into what UKCM does and the benefits it offers. Fully roadworthy, the bus will travel up and down the country to trade shows as well visiting schools to teach children the importance of recycling.

We can’t wait to catch a ride!

Zeus PR Launches Star Celebrations

Zeus PR has loved every minute of working with top drama school company ActUpNorth to coincide with its glitzy ‘celebrity-fuelled’ birthday bash!

The brainchild of ActUpNorth, Peter Hunt, and his senior colleagues have worked tirelessly to grow the business into one of the largest actor training school groups outside of the bright lights of London operating across Manchester, Liverpool and London.

Peter, who is well recognised as working alongside major producers to cast the next generation of star actors, particularly on prime time television soaps and dramas, set up the business following his frustrations at the lack of support for up and coming talent.

Zeus PR has worked closely with Peter and his team to promote the groups achievement to date and generate excitement around the star studded birthday celebrations at The Manchester Palace Hotel, to honour the outstanding success of the fabulous school since it first opened its doors in 2009.

Michelle Holmes and Judy Holt stars of popular TV programme Coronation Street took to the red carpet along with Hollyoaks ‘John Paul McQueen’, James Sutton to join the city centre celebrations.
